Watch Straps Size Guide

With this guide, you’ll be able to determine the right size of the straps for your watch.

In order to get straps that perfectly fit your watch face, you need to know the right strap width and strap length.

Straps are measured in millimeters (mm) by the width of the strap end that attaches to the watch face.

Check your old strap

It should have a number visible at the bottom side of the band. That is the strap’s width in millimeters. If there’s more than one number visible, the width will be indicated first. If the current strap fits you well you can just look for the same width while shopping.

Measure lug width using ruler

Measure the band from the insides of watch lugs using a millimeter ruler. It is more precise to measure the space between the lugs then to measure the band itself.

Watch Straps Length Measurement

First of all, if you have an average size wrist you probably can skip this step and get the regular size straps.

If you are not sure or have large (over 185mm) or small (below 155mm) sized wrist you should choose long or short straps accordingly.

Measure your old strap

Put your straps together and measure the length of both with the millimeter ruler and add the height of the watch face. Remember that straps are always measured without the buckle.

Measure your wrist

You can also measure your wrist and then factor in the width of your watch face. At the same time keep in mind that you can adjust all 2-piece straps size so they can be a little longer than needed.
