Leather watch bands

Leather watch straps are considered to be timeless, universal and classic. Currently there are available bands made from authentic leather, faux leather straps and even vegan leather, as an ethical alternative to genuine leather bands. The wide variety of types of used leather, their colors, textures and details (ex. stitching) help dressing for many different occasions.
Naturally, bands made with hides from exotic animals such as shark, stingray, ostrich, crocodile or lizard are considered as the most exclusive watch straps. The most popular though are calf leather black watch bands. If you want to dress up, straps made from natural leather with matching stitching will be the most suitable option – contrast stitching with thick thread is less formal.

Additionally, handmade leather watch straps are considered of the best quality. As opposed to silicon and nylon bands, traditional leather straps poorly put up with moisture and other external influences, so they are not the best fit for activity trackers. Furthermore, they lose freshness and esthetic values with time, so they have to be exchanged regularly.
